Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific Safety and Health Management Systems (SHMS).
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure strict compliance with DOSH regulations and internal safety policies.
- Lead daily toolbox talks and conduct safety induction training for all site personnel and subcontractors.
- Perform comprehensive Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments for high-risk construction activities.
- Investigate site incidents and near-misses, preparing detailed reports with actionable root cause analysis and corrective measures.
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies, clients, and contractors on safety-related compliance matters.
- Manage the maintenance and inspection records of all safety-critical equipment and emergency response apparatus.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with a valid Green Book issued by DOSH Malaysia is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in site safety management, preferably within the construction or heavy engineering sector.
- Strong working knowledge of OSH Act 1994, FMA 1967, and relevant international safety standards (ISO 45001).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and reporting software.
