Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Lead daily toolbox meetings to brief workers on safety protocols and specific site risks.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, incident reports, and compliance records as required by DOSH/NIOSH standards.
- Investigate all site accidents or near-misses, preparing detailed incident reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across all construction zones.
- Liaise with site management and external authorities to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a Yellow Book or Green Book certification (SHO/SSS) registered with DOSH.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction site safety supervision.
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 1994) and Factories and Machinery Act (FMA 1967).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing site personnel.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and safety reporting software.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites within the Penang region.
