We are currently seeking a motivated and vigilant Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety operations for our ongoing infrastructure projects in Jerantut, Pahang.
As a Site Safety Supervisor, you will be the primary advocate for safety on the ground. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. Your role is critical in preventing accidents and fostering a culture of safety awareness among all site personnel. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard identification to ensure a safe working environment.
- Enforce compliance with the Site Safety Plan, OSHA 1994, and FMA 1967 regulations.
- Organize and lead safety induction programs and toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing comprehensive reports with corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to address safety concerns and implement risk control measures.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation, including inspection logs, training records, and safety statistics.
- Conduct regular emergency response drills and ensure first aid facilities are fully equipped.
- Liaise with local DOSH/JKKP officers during site audits and statutory inspections.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Registered with DOSH as a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) or Safety and Health Officer (SHO). Valid Green Book is mandatory.
- Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on working experience in site safety within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and industry best practices.
- Willing to work on-site in Jerantut, Pahang and possess a flexible approach to working hours.
- Excellent report writing, documentation, and communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for safety reporting.
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, or Fire Safety is an added advantage.
