As our Site Safety Supervisor, you will act as the champion of safety excellence on-site. You will proactively identify hazards, enforce compliance with local safety regulations (DOSH/OSHA requirements), and cultivate a proactive safety culture among our onsite teams and subcontractors. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with DOSH/OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Supervise onsite activities and implement corrective actions immediately to resolve unsafe conditions or practices.
- Facilitate daily toolbox meetings and deliver regular safety briefings/training to all site workers and subcontractors.
- Investigate any near-misses, incidents, or accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventative actions.
- Maintain all required safety documentation, logs, permits-to-work, and inspection reports for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to integrate safety measures into the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is properly utilized and maintained by all onsite personnel.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Yellow Book registration with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia.
- At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in construction, civil engineering, or industrial plant projects.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Thorough knowledge of Malaysian OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and related local construction regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively enforce safety protocols.
- Proven ability to write comprehensive incident reports and conduct hazard identification risk assessments (HIRARC).
