Are you a dedicated Safety Professional looking to make a tangible impact on site culture? Woon Brothers Construction is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Safety Supervisor to join our growing team in Johor Bahru. In this role, you will be the backbone of our site safety operations, ensuring that every worker returns home safely while maintaining strict compliance with national construction standards.
As our Site Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for fostering a 'Safety First' culture across all project phases. You will not only conduct rigorous inspections and risk assessments but also act as a vital link between management and the field team during toolbox meetings and safety briefings. Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety and health programs on construction sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Lead daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings to enhance worker awareness and safety culture.
- Perform detailed Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments for all high-risk activities.
- Ensure full adherence to OSHA, FMA, and other relevant local construction safety regulations.
- Investigate site accidents, near-misses, and dangerous occurrences to prepare corrective action reports.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, and statutory submissions to relevant authorities.
- Provide expert advice to the Project Manager regarding site safety improvement strategies.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Green Book (SHO) certification issued by DOSH is highly preferred.
- Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related engineering field.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in site safety supervision within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction safety laws, OSHA 1994, and FMA 1967.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse site teams.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and site layouts to assess safety requirements effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office and standard digital reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under high-pressure site conditions.
