We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team in Gelang Patah, Johor. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and safety of all employees and visitors on our construction sites. You will ensure strict compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and internal safety policies to minimize risks and prevent workplace accidents. This contract position offers the opportunity to work on dynamic projects while leading a team in maintaining a secure and compliant working environment. We are looking for a proactive professional who can identify hazards, implement corrective measures, and foster a strong safety culture across the site.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily HSE operations and safety management on construction sites in Gelang Patah.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety procedures for all personnel.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive safety reports, incident records, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with project management to develop and implement effective safety improvement plans.
- Train and educate site personnel on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and hazard awareness.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or a related technical field.
- Valid OSH Officer certification or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working as a Site Safety Supervisor or Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian OSHA standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to enforce rules fairly and effectively under pressure.
- Physically fit to conduct site inspections and work in various weather conditions.
