Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures on-site to ensure full compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks before they escalate.
- Enforce the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and monitor safety equipment maintenance.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses, preparing detailed incident reports and recommending preventive measures.
- Provide comprehensive safety training and toolbox talks to construction workers and contractors.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop and update Safety Plans.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or a related field.
- Valid SSS (Site Safety Supervisor) or SOH (Safety Officer Health) certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) Act 1994 and construction safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
