Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols on construction sites to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to enhance workers' awareness and knowledge of safety procedures
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection records, and safety plans
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into all phases of construction activities
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to construction safety
Kualifikasi
- Certified Safety Officer or equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction safety supervision or a related role
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations, standards, and best practices in the construction industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and guide workers effectively
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing safety management plans
- Certificate in First Aid and CPR would be an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
