Join Swichtec Power Systems as a Site Safety Supervisor and play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment across our projects in the Klang Valley and Penang. We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead safety initiatives, conduct rigorous risk assessments, and ensure that all construction activities adhere to strict safety regulations. Your expertise will directly influence the well-being of our workforce and the successful execution of our engineering projects.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the daily safety oversight of site operations, ensuring that all safety protocols are not only met but exceeded. You will act as the primary point of contact for safety compliance, interfacing with project managers and regulatory bodies to guarantee that safety standards are integrated seamlessly into project execution. We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a culture of safety within the construction industry.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive Site Safety Plans (SSP) tailored to specific project requirements.
- Conduct daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, and hazard identification audits to ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and procedures among all site personnel and subcontractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement effective preventive strategies.
- Coordinate with management and engineering teams to resolve safety hazards and ensure timely implementation of corrective measures.
- Train and educate site staff on proper safety procedures, PPE usage, and emergency response protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training sessions, and incident reports for regulatory compliance and reporting.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or Safety Officer in the construction or power systems industry.
- Valid SSMP (Construction Industry Safety & Health) Certificate is mandatory.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSHA regulations and general construction safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively train and manage site teams.
- Ability to work independently and travel to various sites across the Klang Valley and Penang.
- Valid Malaysian driving license.
