Your Responsibilities
As the Site Safety Supervisor, you will be the key driver of the company's safety culture. You will be fully responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the Safety and Health policy on site. This includes conducting thorough risk assessments, leading safety inductions, and ensuring all site activities strictly comply with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and DOSH regulations. You will meticulously document all safety procedures, investigate any incidents or near misses, and recommend robust preventative measures. Liaising with regulatory authorities and coordinating emergency response drills will also be core aspects of your daily role.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and vigilant safety leader with a strong background in construction safety. You must possess a valid Yellow Book registered with DOSH/JKKP and have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within the construction sector. You have excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, enabling you to effectively train and engage with a diverse workforce. Your deep knowledge of HIRARC, JSA, and incident investigation is matched by your ability to use MS Office for comprehensive reporting.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive daily site safety inspections and hazard identification exercises to proactively mitigate risks.
- Enforce strict compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and the company's internal Safety & Health policies on all construction sites.
- Organize and conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and regular training sessions for all levels of site personnel.
- Maintain and update critical safety documentation including HIRARC, JSA, chemical register, and incident reports.
- Lead thorough investigations into workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Serve as the primary liaison with DOSH, JKKP, and other regulatory bodies during site inspections, audits, and enforcement visits.
- Monitor the issuance, usage, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety signage across the project site.
- Coordinate and execute regular emergency response drills, fire safety briefings, and first aid preparedness activities for the project team.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor Certificate) registered with DOSH/JKKP (Malaysia).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven working experience as a Safety Supervisor specifically within the construction industry.
- Deep understanding of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and related regulations as applicable to construction environments.
- A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a closely related field is highly advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence a positive safety culture across diverse teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
- Willingness to be based full-time on project sites in Johor Bahru and travel to other sites as required.
