Join Alunan Asas as a Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book Holder) and play a pivotal role in ensuring construction site safety excellence. This position demands proactive monitoring of daily site operations to identify potential hazards, enforce safety protocols, and maintain compliance with national regulations. You will conduct comprehensive safety inspections, oversee high-risk activities, and collaborate with contractors to implement corrective measures. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Site Safety Officer (SHO) and Site Project Manager (SPM), providing critical insights through detailed documentation and incident reports. Your expertise will foster a culture of safety awareness, reducing workplace accidents and protecting personnel, equipment, and project timelines. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
- Supervise high-risk activities including excavation, crane operations, and work-at-height procedures
- Enforce mandatory use of PPE and safety protocols across all work areas
- Prepare and submit detailed safety reports to SHO and SPM with actionable recommendations
- Investigate safety incidents and near-misses to develop preventive strategies
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct safety drills
- Maintain accurate safety documentation including inspection logs and training records
- Mentor site personnel on safety best practices and regulatory requirements
Kualifikasi
- Valid Yellow Book certification (recognized safety qualification in Malaysia)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction site safety supervision
- Deep knowledge of DOSH regulations and construction safety standards
- Strong leadership skills with ability to enforce safety policies effectively
- Proficiency in safety documentation, incident reporting, and audit procedures
- Certified First Aid and CPR training (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with safety management software and digital reporting tools
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
