In this vital role, you will conduct comprehensive sleep studies, including overnight polysomnograms and home sleep studies, to help diagnose and manage a wide range of sleep disorders.

As a Sleep Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring patients during their sleep cycles, ensuring accurate physiological data collection, and collaborating closely with sleep physicians to develop effective treatment plans. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform overnight polysomnograms and home sleep studies on patients with suspected sleep disorders.
- Monitor and record vital physiological data, including brain waves, eye movements, muscle activity, heart rate, and respiratory patterns.
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain sleep monitoring equipment to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
- Analyze sleep study data and assist in the interpretation of results by the supervising physician.
- Educate patients on sleep hygiene, proper equipment usage, and adherence to study protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and technical documentation.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper organization of the sleep lab and monitoring devices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, or a related medical field.
- Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a sleep center, hospital, or clinical setting is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
