As a Social Welfare Assistant, you will work alongside experienced social workers and government officials to implement welfare programs, assist vulnerable populations, and contribute to the overall social development of our municipality. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the implementation and coordination of social welfare programs and services for residents of Bacolor and surrounding areas
- Provide support in case management including intake, assessment, and follow-up services for clients
- Conduct home visits and community outreach activities to identify families and individuals in need of assistance
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions, services provided, and program activities
- Assist in the preparation of reports, statistical data, and program documentation as required
- Coordinate with other government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations to facilitate service delivery
- Support the organization of community meetings, workshops, and awareness campaigns on social welfare topics
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Social Welfare Officer or designated supervisor
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field from a recognized educational institution
- Knowledge of social welfare principles, practices, and Philippine government procedures is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Must possess good moral character and a strong sense of integrity
- Prior experience in government service or social work settings is preferred but not required
- Filipino citizenship and willingness to work in the Ilocos Region
