Join Transportation Solutions Indonesia as a Software Engineer, Backend - Insurance and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the insurance sector. You will report to the Engineering Manager, Insurance, based in Indonesia and will develop the complex backend systems powering the many end-to-end insurance workflows, from policy underwriting to claims processing. We are looking for a technical leader who is eager to tackle challenging problems in a high-stakes industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting scalable services and ensuring the reliability and security of our data infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that delight our customers. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define feature requirements, create technical specifications, and ensure seamless integration.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity for critical insurance transactional data.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions to maintain high code quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and security protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, or Python.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL like PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL like MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, distributed team environment.
