Adecco is partnering with an established retail organization to hire a dynamic Sourcing Specialist (Apparel). This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading player in the retail industry and leverage your expertise in supply chain management within the vibrant Central Region of Singapore.
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the company's procurement strategy. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing high-quality apparel suppliers. This involves conducting thorough market research, negotiating favorable terms, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure seamless operations and cost-efficiency.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and evaluate potential apparel suppliers and manufacturers.
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, from initial sourcing to onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers to ensure competitive advantage and cost savings.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including product development and quality assurance, to align sourcing with product specifications.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with quality and production standards.
- Analyze market trends, fabric availability, and competitor pricing to recommend strategic sourcing opportunities.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders regarding sourcing activities and supplier performance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in apparel sourcing, retail procurement, or the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of the apparel manufacturing process, including fabric sourcing, production timelines, and quality control.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with international and local vendors.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Ability to travel locally for supplier visits, trade shows, and market research.
