Are you a high-performing professional with a passion for organizational strategy and stakeholder management? Business Media International Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Special Officer to the President to support our leadership team in managing the Small and Medium Enterprises Association (SAMENTA) initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the President’s office, serving as a critical liaison between our organization, trade associations, and key government bodies.
In this role, you will act as an extension of the President, managing high-level correspondences, coordinating strategic meetings, and ensuring that our advocacy efforts reach the right stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of the Malaysian business landscape, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in driving the association's mission forward and ensuring smooth operations across all external relations.
Tanggung Jawab
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the President, managing daily business operations and prioritizing executive communications.
- Coordinate and facilitate engagements between SAMENTA, government agencies, and industry trade associations.
- Draft high-level reports, briefing notes, and presentations for board meetings and external stakeholder dialogues.
- Monitor and analyze policy developments relevant to SMEs to provide timely updates and recommendations to the President.
- Organize and attend strategic meetings, ensuring all action items are captured and followed up upon.
- Represent the President’s office at industry events, networking sessions, and government forums when required.
- Manage the President’s calendar to ensure optimal efficiency and focus on high-priority organizational objectives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in an executive assistant, administrative, or government relations role.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to network effectively at all levels.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work with high levels of discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
