Join the dynamic team at FFM Berhad as a Specialist, Legal & Compliance. We are looking for a detail-oriented legal professional to support the Head of Legal and Compliance in navigating the complex legal landscape of our operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to contribute to the corporate governance framework of a leading organization in Kuala Lumpur.
In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our business activities adhere to all applicable laws and regulations. You will work directly with senior leadership to mitigate legal risks, draft critical legal documents, and ensure our compliance programs are robust and effective. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Head of Legal in managing day-to-day legal operations and strategic compliance initiatives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements, including contracts, memoranda, and corporate resolutions.
- Monitor and ensure strict adherence to local and international regulatory standards applicable to the company's operations.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to interpret complex laws and advise management on potential legal risks.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies to resolve compliance issues efficiently.
- Oversee the maintenance of corporate records and ensure proper documentation of all legal processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an accredited university.
- Admitted to the Malaysian Bar or currently pursuing call to bar.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in legal compliance, corporate law, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian commercial laws, company acts, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
- Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
