Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet patient-specific rehabilitation goals.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing staff to ensure a cohesive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Provide patient and caregiver education on therapeutic strategies to facilitate continuity of care post-discharge.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in departmental clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and ongoing research initiatives.
- Mentor junior therapists and clinical students during their rotations within the hospital.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Full registration (or eligible for registration) with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore.
- Proven clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic multidisciplinary medical team.
