CBRE is seeking a Senior Counsel - Global Litigation to join our dynamic legal team based in Singapore. As a key member of our Global Litigation practice, you will provide high-level legal counsel and manage complex litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage a diverse portfolio of global litigation and regulatory matters for CBRE’s international operations.
- Lead and direct complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
- Draft, file, and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs with a focus on high-stakes outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor junior legal staff and manage relationships with external law firms.
- Provide strategic legal advice to business unit leaders regarding risk assessment and mitigation.
- Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with local and international legal standards and regulatory requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Admitted to practice law in Singapore (or equivalent) with a minimum of 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
- Proven track record of handling cross-border litigation and international legal issues.
- Strong technical legal skills with the ability to analyze complex commercial contracts and legal documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present cases to senior management and courts.
- High level of professional integrity and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of civil procedure and evidence rules in Singapore and relevant international jurisdictions.
- LL.B or LL.M degree from a recognized university.
