As part of our Medical Emergency Centre (MEC) Operations team, the Sr Executive / Assistant Manager – MEC Operations plays a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, enhancing service delivery, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a dynamic healthcare setting. You will collaborate closely with clinical staff, allied health professionals, and support services to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, optimal resource utilisation, and compliance with Ministry of Health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end‑to‑end operational workflows of the MEC, ensuring timely patient flow and minimising wait times.
- Develop, implement, and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with national healthcare regulations.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives, analyse operational metrics, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain a highly skilled and motivated team.
- Coordinate cross‑functional projects such as facility upgrades, technology deployments, and emergency preparedness drills.
- Act as the primary liaison with external partners, including suppliers, insurance providers, and community agencies.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards, and drive accreditation readiness.

Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in hospital or healthcare operations, with supervisory responsibilities.
- Proven ability to manage operational budgets, staffing, and performance metrics.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders.
- Experience with quality improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Singapore’s healthcare regulatory environment and accreditation standards.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
