Bumiputera General Insurance is seeking a dedicated Staff IT Data Center to join our dynamic team in Semarang. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our operational stability, ensuring that our data center facilities and server environments function at peak performance to support our insurance services.
As part of our commitment to excellence, this role is a Work From Office (WFO) position, providing you with hands-on experience in managing enterprise-grade hardware and network infrastructure. You will work closely with the IT operations team to mitigate risks, perform routine maintenance, and ensure our business continuity systems are always ready for action. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking hardware.
- Ensure 24/7 system availability by performing proactive health checks and routine preventive maintenance.
- Manage data center power, cooling, and environmental monitoring systems to prevent hardware failure.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and decommissioning of server equipment and cabling.
- Document all operational procedures, infrastructure changes, and inventory logs accurately.
- Respond promptly to system alerts and provide on-site technical support for hardware-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security protocols and disaster recovery plans.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of server architecture, networking protocols (TCP/IP), and rack management.
- Experience with environmental monitoring tools and basic cabling standards (UTP/Fiber).
- Ability to work effectively in a Work From Office environment with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts or provide on-call support during critical system updates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on high-availability systems.
