Crawfurd Hospital is seeking a dedicated, highly skilled, and compassionate Staff Nurse (Anaesthesia Unit / AU) to join our premium healthcare facility in Bukit Timah. In this critical perioperative role, you will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the surgical team to deliver exceptional, patient-centric care during the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of surgery.
As an Anaesthesia Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing specialized equipment, monitoring patients' vital signs under anaesthesia, and maintaining a safe, sterile environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist anaesthetists during all phases of anaesthesia administration, including induction, maintenance, and emergence.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain anaesthetic machines, intubation equipment, monitoring devices, and sterile supplies before procedures.
- Assess and monitor patient physiological parameters, vital signs, and airway status continuously during surgery.
- Ensure strict compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety goals, and infection control standards within the operating theatre.
- Collaborate effectively with the multi-disciplinary surgical team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Accurately document medication administration, clinical observations, and perioperative nursing care.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and clear instructions to patients before and after surgical procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Registered Nurse with a valid Practising Certificate from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Post-Basic or Advanced Diploma in Perioperative Nursing or Anaesthesia Nursing is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical nursing experience in major operating theatres or anaesthesia care units.
- Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Life Support Course for Nurses (LSCN) certifications.
- Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a diverse medical team.
