You will be responsible for preparing the anesthesia workstation, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring that all medical equipment is sterilized and ready for immediate use. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the anesthesiologist in the preparation and administration of anesthesia for various surgical procedures.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, level of consciousness, and reaction to anesthesia throughout the perioperative period.
- Ensure the anesthesia workstation is fully stocked, functional, and compliant with safety protocols.
- Manage and maintain medical equipment and supplies within the anesthesia unit.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to alleviate anxiety before surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless workflow and immediate response during medical emergencies.
- Adhere to strict infection control and documentation standards in accordance with hospital policies.
Kualifikasi
- Registered Nurse (SN) with a valid practicing license from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an acute care, operating theater, or anesthesia setting.
- Strong understanding of anesthetic drugs, dosages, and potential complications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts as required by the clinical department.
