Tanggung Jawab
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers, POS systems, and barcode scanners.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate across all transactions.
- Collect payments whether in cash, credit cards, or digital wallets, and provide accurate change and receipts.
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas, complying with safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Greet customers, answer queries, and guide them to products or promotional offers.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and checking product expiration dates when needed.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or vocational course is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a Retail Cashier, Sales Clerk, or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic equipment (like POS, cash registers, scanners).
- Strong mathematical skills with high accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle peak hours efficiently.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
