Goldilocks Bakeshop, the iconic Filipino bakery and restaurant chain, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Store Opening Support Manager to join our team in Mandaluyong City. As we continue to expand our footprint across the Philippines, you will play a key role in bringing new stores to life. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of store opening activities, ensuring that each launch is flawless and on schedule.

Your main responsibilities will include developing comprehensive opening plans, coordinating with internal departments (Construction, Operations, Marketing, HR), managing external contractors and suppliers, conducting site inspections, and monitoring budgets. You will also create and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across all new locations. After each opening, you will analyze outcomes and implement improvements for future projects.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in retail project management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You should be detail-oriented, solution-focused, and comfortable with frequent site visits. A bachelor's degree in business or a related field and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience are required.

  • Plan and manage the complete store opening process from site turnover to grand opening event.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including real estate, construction, operations, and marketing to ensure alignment.
  • Conduct site assessments and readiness evaluations prior to store launch.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures for store openings.
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report financial status.
  • Train and support store managers and staff on opening protocols and brand standards.
  • Provide post-opening support and implement corrective actions based on feedback.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail management or project management, preferably with multi-site opening experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or Asana).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to store locations across the region.
  • Knowledge of the Philippine retail industry and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
