Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare high-quality sushi, sashimi, and maki rolls according to established restaurant standards.
  • Ensure the highest level of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices are maintained in the kitchen.
  • Manage inventory levels of fresh seafood and ingredients, minimizing waste through precise portion control.
  • Execute daily food preparation tasks, including rice preparation, vegetable cutting, and fish filleting.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative daily specials or menu enhancements.
  • Maintain equipment and workspace in impeccable condition.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff or apprentices.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Sushimen or Sushi Chef.
  • Deep understanding of Japanese culinary techniques and ingredient selection.
  • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in presentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong commitment to food safety protocols (HACCP knowledge is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
