PT Maha Kimia Indonesia is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sustainability Associate (Intern) to join our team in Jakarta. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy.
In this role, you will work closely with our sustainability lead to support the execution of our green roadmap. You will gain exposure to high-impact projects, from carbon footprint tracking to supply chain audits. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide sustainability roadmaps and ESG initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth research on environmental regulations, industry standards, and global sustainability trends.
- Support the coordination and documentation of sustainability projects, ensuring all milestones are tracked and reported accurately.
- Draft reports and presentation materials for internal stakeholders and external audit requirements.
- Collect and analyze environmental data, including energy consumption, waste management metrics, and carbon emissions.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to promote sustainability awareness and resource efficiency programs.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in ESG principles, climate change mitigation, and corporate responsibility.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Strong command of both English and Indonesian, both verbal and written.
- Previous internship experience or involvement in environmental organizations is a significant plus.
