Accusource Business Solutions Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing finance team. We are a leading accounting firm dedicated to providing exceptional financial services to our clients. This is a remote position based in Cebu, Central Visayas, offering a full-time schedule with a day shift to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
In this role, you will be the key point of contact for tax compliance and preparation for our Australian clients. You will utilize your deep knowledge of Australian taxation laws to prepare accurate returns, manage Business Activity Statements (BAS), and maintain comprehensive workpapers. We are looking for a proactive professional who can handle complex tax scenarios with precision and efficiency in a virtual environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and lodge Australian Income Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements (BAS) accurately and on time.
- Develop, review, and maintain detailed tax workpapers and supporting schedules for audit purposes.
- Ensure strict compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations and company internal policies.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations specifically related to tax accounts and expenses.
- Liaise with clients and external auditors regarding tax queries and documentation requirements.
- Assist in tax planning strategies to optimize client financial positions within legal frameworks.
- Conduct periodic reviews of financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience specifically in Australian Taxation and BAS preparation.
- Strong working knowledge of the Income Tax Assessment Act (ITA) and relevant Australian tax legislation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and the team.
