Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and lodge Australian individual and business tax returns with accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Manage and reconcile Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial records to ensure compliance with both local and Australian tax regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax queries, complex financial matters, and required documentation.
- Assist in developing tax planning strategies to help clients minimize liabilities and optimize their financial positions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within our accounting software systems.
- Collaborate with the wider bookkeeping team to ensure seamless integration of tax processes with overall financial reporting.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in tax accounting, with a specific focus on Australian tax systems and regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) guidelines and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
