As our Tax and Audit Officer, you will bridge the gap between compliance and strategic financial planning. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns, researching complex tax issues, and coordinating both internal and external audit processes. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare, review, and file timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (including VAT, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax) in compliance with BIR regulations.
- Plan, organize, and execute internal financial, operational, and compliance audits to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls.
- Coordinate and act as the primary point of contact for external audits and government tax assessments.
- Identify tax risks, conduct thorough tax research, and recommend effective tax-saving strategies aligned with current legislation.
- Reconcile tax ledger accounts against financial statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Develop, update, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for tax compliance and audit workflows to improve efficiency.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present actionable recommendations to senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. Being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred.
- At least 2-4 years of solid experience in tax compliance, corporate taxation, and internal/external auditing, preferably in a manufacturing or corporate environment.
- Deep working knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR rules, and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and dependability.
