Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation, computation, and filing of corporate and personal tax returns for clients in accordance with Malaysian tax laws.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to interpret complex tax regulations and provide accurate advice to clients.
- Prepare and review tax computations, schedules, and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
- Provide tax advisory services to clients, including tax planning strategies to optimize their tax positions.
- Communicate effectively with clients and tax authorities to resolve queries and ensure compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax packs and corporate tax computations for the audit process.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and industry trends to ensure best practices are applied.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or a recognized tax qualification (e.g., CITP, MCT) are highly desirable.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a tax advisory firm, accounting practice, or corporate tax department.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian tax statutes, including the Income Tax Act 1967.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills being an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
