Micron Semiconductors is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to serve as the primary corporate tax expert for our Singapore operations. In this pivotal role, you will lead our tax strategy, ensuring full compliance with local regulations while identifying opportunities to drive Micron's financial growth.
You will be joining a dynamic global team where your expertise will directly influence our business decisions. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related functions, including corporate income tax, GST (Goods and Services Tax), and transfer pricing. You will act as a strategic advisor to the business, managing tax risks and ensuring that Micron remains competitive in the semiconductor market through efficient tax planning.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of annual corporate tax returns and quarterly GST filings with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
- Lead and participate in corporate tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's tax position while ensuring full compliance with tax laws.
- Conduct transfer pricing studies, documentation, and compliance to meet local and international regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants during annual audits and tax reviews to ensure transparency and accuracy.
- Monitor changes in Singapore tax legislation and regulatory updates, providing timely recommendations to management.
- Advise management on the tax implications of business transactions, restructurings, and expansion projects.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, with a strong focus on the Singapore market.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore tax laws, including GST, transfer pricing, and corporate income tax.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present tax strategies to non-tax audiences.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
