As our Tax Manager, you will lead tax planning initiatives, manage audits, and serve as the primary advisor to leadership regarding tax implications of cross-border shipping transactions. You will work closely with finance teams to optimize our tax position while maintaining strict adherence to BIR regulations and local tax laws.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies to support the company’s logistics and shipping operations.
- Ensure full compliance with BIR, local government, and international tax reporting requirements.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns, VAT filings, and withholding tax declarations accurately and on time.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
- Analyze the tax impact of new logistics service offerings and operational expansions.
- Provide expert advice to management on transfer pricing and tax efficiency measures.
- Supervise tax staff and streamline internal documentation and reporting processes.
Kualifikasi
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an active license.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in tax management, preferably in logistics, shipping, or supply chain.
- Deep understanding of Philippine tax laws, including VAT, EWT, and corporate income tax.
- Experience in handling tax audits and dealing with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and financial regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical tax issues into actionable business insights.
