- Lead and develop high-performing tax teams, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations
- Oversee preparation and review of complex tax returns, including income tax, GST, and FBT
- Design and implement strategic tax planning frameworks to optimize client outcomes
- Manage tax audits, disputes, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Mentor tax professionals through structured training programs and performance feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tax processes with financial systems
- Monitor tax legislation changes and advise on compliance implications
- Drive continuous improvement in tax workflow efficiency and accuracy
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- Minimum 5 years experience in tax management with Australian tax expertise
- Proven leadership experience managing tax teams (5+ direct reports)
- Deep knowledge of Australian Tax Office (ATO) regulations and compliance
- Advanced proficiency in tax software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Experience with tax risk assessment and mitigation strategies
