Tanggung Jawab
- Manage a dedicated portfolio of corporate and individual tax clients to ensure 100% statutory compliance.
- Prepare, review, and finalize complex tax computations and annual tax returns (Form C, CP204, CP204A, etc.).
- Monitor and track deadlines for tax submissions to ensure nil penalties and absolute accuracy.
- Provide professional advisory services to clients regarding tax planning and updates to local tax legislation.
- Conduct thorough research on tax issues and provide practical solutions to complex tax inquiries.
- Review the work performed by junior staff, providing mentorship and constructive feedback to drive team excellence.
- Liaise professionally with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) and other relevant authorities on behalf of clients.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or professional qualification equivalent such as ACCA, CPA, or MICPA).
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in corporate or personal taxation within an accounting firm or a commercial environment.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of the Malaysian Income Tax Act 1967 and current tax rulings.
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and handle high-pressure deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
