Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including AP/AR, GL, and payroll.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and local tax regulations (BIR).
- Mentor and coach a team of accounting specialists, fostering a culture of professional excellence and continuous learning.
- Develop and implement financial process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless compliance and audits.
- Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive management reports for senior leadership.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities to align with company-wide strategic goals.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or senior-level specialist role.
- Strong expertise in Philippine tax laws, statutory compliance, and PFRS/IFRS.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Xero).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a startup or BPO environment is a significant advantage.
