Lotus's, one of Malaysia's most trusted hypermarket chains, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to oversee operations at our Kuala Lumpur store. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our retail operations, leading a diverse team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving sales performance. You will be the go-to person for your team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them reach their full potential. Additionally, you will collaborate with store management to implement strategies that enhance customer experience and optimize store efficiency.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for retail. Prior experience in a supervisory role is essential, and familiarity with retail KPIs and store operations is a plus. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise a team of retail associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and visual merchandising.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, safety, and product availability.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and conduct regular stock audits.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new staff to build a strong team.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leader experience in retail or related industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with POS systems and inventory software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Diploma or degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or equivalent preferred.
