Are you an engineering professional with a passion for technical communication? Panasonic is seeking a meticulous Technical Manual Engineer to join our HVAC R&D division in Shah Alam. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between our complex engineering specifications and the end-users of our world-class air-conditioning systems.
You will be responsible for translating intricate R&D data into clear, concise, and compliant technical documentation. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives on precision, understands HVAC mechanical systems, and is committed to delivering documentation that reflects Panasonic’s global standards for quality and safety.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, edit, and maintain high-quality technical manuals, installation guides, and user manuals for HVAC and air-conditioning products.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and design engineers to translate complex technical specifications into user-friendly documentation.
- Ensure all technical content complies with international safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality protocols.
- Manage the documentation lifecycle from initial draft to final production, ensuring version control and consistency.
- Conduct document reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional stakeholders including quality assurance and engineering teams.
- Review product prototypes to ensure documentation accurately reflects hardware configurations and user interfaces.
- Utilize graphic and publishing software to create illustrative guides and schematics that simplify technical operation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the HVAC, consumer electronics, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret engineering blueprints, CAD drawings, and schematics.
- Exceptional proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent technical writing and editing skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to organize technical information logically.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and basic familiarity with CAD or graphic software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional R&D environment.
