Are you detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality? We are currently seeking a motivated Technical Officer (Housing Defects Checking) to join a dynamic team in the West Region. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in estate management and property maintenance within a stable, 12-month contract role.
In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring housing standards are met through rigorous site inspections and thorough reporting. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that residential defects are identified, recorded, and addressed efficiently. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular site inspections of residential units to identify defects and quality issues.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of site findings and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with contractors and relevant stakeholders to resolve defect rectification issues.
- Perform follow-up checks to ensure repairs are completed according to safety and quality standards.
- Provide clear communication and updates to residents regarding inspection schedules and rectification progress.
- Assist in administrative tasks related to estate management and facilities documentation.
- Support the team in achieving project timelines and maintaining high standards of property maintenance.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Nitec/Diploma in Building Services, Facilities Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in site inspection, defect checking, or property maintenance is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in basic office software (MS Word, Excel) for report generation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify structural or cosmetic defects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with contractors and residents.
- Ability to travel within the West Region as part of daily site operations.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
