Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for process engineering and cost management? Boilermaster is seeking a motivated Tender & Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tuas. This is a unique opportunity for an entry-level professional or a Quantity Surveyor (QS) looking to pivot into a high-impact sales support role within the process industry.
In this role, you will play a critical part in our bidding cycle, helping to translate complex engineering requirements into competitive, multi-million dollar proposals. You will collaborate with technical teams to optimize project costs, mitigate risks, and ensure our bids are not only technically sound but also commercially winning. Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and client requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project risks and opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive tender documentation and commercial proposals for multi-million dollar process industry projects.
- Coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors to obtain competitive pricing and evaluate quotes.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and post-tender clarifications to advocate for the company’s value proposition.
- Maintain and update estimation databases to ensure accuracy in future bidding cycles.
- Support the sales team in achieving growth targets by identifying value-engineering solutions.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in estimation and tender processes are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and understanding engineering specifications.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and precision in numerical data.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with internal technical teams and external clients.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and estimation software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines.
- Must be comfortable working in a site-based environment in the Tuas region.
