British School Jakarta (BSJ) is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Tennis Coach to join our dynamic athletics department. In this role, you will be instrumental in the delivery and expansion of the BSJ tennis programme, catering to students across both our extracurricular activities and our competitive sports frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tennis pedagogy, a proven track record in developing young talent, and the ability to inspire students to achieve their personal best. You will work closely with the sports department to integrate tennis into the broader school curriculum, ensuring high standards of coaching, safety, and sportsmanship. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and implement comprehensive tennis training sessions for varying age groups and skill levels.
- Lead competitive training squads, focusing on technical proficiency, tactical awareness, and match play strategy.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to both players and parents.
- Manage the maintenance and organization of tennis court facilities and sports equipment.
- Represent BSJ at local, regional, and national tennis tournaments and athletic events.
- Promote a culture of health, fitness, and sportsmanship across the school community.
- Collaborate with the Physical Education department to enhance the overall sports curriculum.
Kualifikasi
- Recognized Tennis Coaching Certification (ITF, PTR, or equivalent level).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in coaching competitive tennis, preferably in an international school setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated expertise in player development and tournament management.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous professional development.
