As a Traffic Management Officer, you will be the face of safety on our job sites, ensuring that both the public and our workers remain protected at all times. Your role will involve strategic planning and quick decision-making to handle traffic congestion and emergencies effectively.
Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and direct traffic flow at construction sites and public events to ensure maximum safety.
- Deploy and maintain proper traffic control devices, including traffic cones, barriers, signage, and flashing lights.
- Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and traffic plans.
- Communicate effectively with site engineers, contractors, and drivers to prevent accidents and maintain flow.
- Manage traffic congestion and maintain order during peak hours and heavy traffic situations.
- Document daily operations and report any hazards, incidents, or equipment failures immediately.
- Coordinate with local authorities or law enforcement if necessary during large-scale projects.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Valid Traffic Marshal or Safety Officer certification is highly preferred and mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in traffic control, site supervision, or construction.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and standard signage.
- Excellent observation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
