We are currently seeking a highly motivated Treasury Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Penang. This role is ideal for an accounting professional looking to specialize in treasury functions and advance their career in a supportive environment.
As a Treasury Accountant, you will be instrumental in overseeing cash flow, monitoring bank transactions, and managing foreign exchange exposures. You will prepare cash forecasts, ensure accurate recording of transactions, and support the month-end closing process. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail will help optimize our treasury operations and strengthen internal controls.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a degree in Accounting/Finance, at least 2-3 years of experience in treasury or corporate accounting, and strong knowledge of financial software. Proficiency in English and Malay is essential, and experience with ERP systems will be an added advantage.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage daily cash operations, including cash positioning and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Monitor and manage foreign exchange risk and execute hedging transactions as needed.
- Oversee bank account administration and maintain relationships with banking partners.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly treasury reports and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to improve treasury processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in treasury or corporate accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
