As an Underwriting Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our underwriting department by evaluating risk profiles for engineering-related insurance applications. Beyond risk assessment, you will also take ownership of account management and collection processes, ensuring the financial health of your assigned portfolios. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the review and evaluation of engineering insurance applications based on established underwriting guidelines.
- Ensure all risks are assessed within the assigned authority limits, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Coordinate with brokers and clients to gather necessary documentation and clarifying information for applications.
- Manage the end-to-end collection process for assigned accounts, ensuring timely premium payments.
- Prepare underwriting reports and maintain up-to-date client records in the company’s database.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies in accounts and ensure policy compliance.
- Provide administrative support to the underwriting team during peak periods and special projects.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply; prior internship experience in insurance or finance is a plus.
- Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
