- Underwrite and review property and fire insurance policies and renewals according to established guidelines and company standards
- Analyze portfolio performance and assess risks associated with various property types and fire hazards
- Assist with claims and reinsurance inquiries, providing accurate information to support resolution processes
- Prepare comprehensive reports on underwriting activities, trends, and performance metrics
- Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and best practices in property insurance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent underwriting approaches and risk management strategies
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the underwriting management team
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Prior experience in insurance underwriting, preferably with exposure to property and fire insurance lines
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and make sound underwriting decisions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing policy documents and claims information
- Proficiency in insurance industry software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client and stakeholder interactions
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Professional certifications in insurance (e.g., CPCU, ARM) are considered an asset
