Role Overview
As a Billing Specialist III, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex US billing processes. You will manage the full billing lifecycle, from prebills and audits to final invoice generation and reconciliation. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure 100% accuracy and full compliance with US GAAP and internal SOX controls. You will take ownership of billing systems, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline operations.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end billing process for complex US client portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate invoice generation.
- Conduct detailed prebill reviews and audits to identify discrepancies, resolve errors, and ensure data integrity.
- Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for billing inquiries, providing resolution and guidance to internal teams and external clients.
- Maintain and optimize billing systems, performing regular system checks and updates to prevent errors and enhance functionality.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams to process adjustments, handle reconciliations, and support the monthly close process.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and minimize financial risk.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, SOX compliance standards, and US regulatory requirements in all billing activities.
- Generate and analyze billing reports to track key metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in US billing, accounts receivable, or revenue accounting.
- Demonstrated experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or lead role in a billing function.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, Macros).
- In-depth understanding of US GAAP as it pertains to revenue recognition and billing compliance.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with global stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
