Tanggung Jawab
- Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to medical procedures, diagnoses, and services
- Review and analyze medical documentation for completeness and compliance with coding guidelines
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and payer-specific requirements
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
- Submit clean claims to insurance companies and track reimbursement status
- Maintain current knowledge of coding updates through continuous education
- Generate coding reports and analytics for revenue cycle optimization
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field
- Valid nursing license (Philippine RN license) and/or CPC/CCS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical coding within a hospital or clinic setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and coding software
