Tanggung Jawab
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary nurses during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures, including safe and gentle animal restraint.
- Prepare examination rooms, surgical suites, and treatment areas, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and proper stocking of medical supplies.
- Monitor and provide compassionate care for hospitalized animals, including feeding, walking, and administering medications as directed.
- Maintain a sterile, organized, and safe clinic environment, including cleaning kennels, cages, and common areas to the highest standards.
- Provide empathetic and professional client service, assisting pet owners with check-in/out, answering basic questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as preparing samples for analysis and maintaining lab equipment.
- Accurately handle and update patient records, ensuring all documentation is precise and current.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and ordering of veterinary supplies and feed.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant certification in Veterinary Assisting or Animal Care is a significant advantage.
- Previous experience in an animal care setting (veterinary clinic, animal shelter, pet store) is highly desirable, but passionate individuals with no prior experience are encouraged to apply.
- Genuine love for animals, coupled with a compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks (e.g., lifting animals up to 20kg, prolonged standing, bending).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for interacting with colleagues and pet owners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions precisely and efficiently.
- Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and clinic management software.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures, protocols, and technologies within the veterinary field.
