Join the Valencia City Water District team as a Water/Sewerage Maintenance Man B and play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and quality of water services for the community. In this vital position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, installation, maintenance, and repair of the city's water distribution and sewerage systems. We are looking for a dedicated technical professional who is physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to the infrastructure development of Northern Mindanao. This role involves working outdoors, handling heavy machinery, and responding to service calls to resolve water-related issues efficiently while adhering to strict engineering standards and safety protocols.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of water distribution networks and sewerage systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of pipelines, valves, fire hydrants, and meters to detect leaks or structural damage.
- Execute leak detection and repair operations, including excavation and pipe relining where necessary.
- Operate heavy construction equipment and hand tools safely for trenching and pipe laying.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and district policies.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and perform on-site troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with engineering teams for project implementation and system upgrades.
Kualifikasi
- High School Graduate or Vocational Certificate in Plumbing, Pipefitting, or Civil Technology.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in water utility maintenance or construction work.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic principles, pipe materials, and welding techniques.
- Valid Certificate of Registration (if applicable) or eligibility for Civil Service Examination.
- Basic proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Willingness to work on shifts and perform field work in remote locations.
