Tanggung Jawab
- Process accurate end-to-end payroll for up to 200+ employees weekly/fortnightly, ensuring strict adherence to the SCHADS Award.
- Expertly interpret and apply complex award conditions including classifications, penalty rates, overtime, shift loadings, and allowances specific to the community services sector.
- Manage full employee lifecycle transactions: onboarding, timesheet auditing, leave accruals (annual, personal, long service), and termination calculations.
- Ensure ironclad compliance with ATO requirements including Single Touch Payroll (STP) Phase 2, superannuation, PAYG Withholding, and payroll tax.
- Prepare detailed payroll reconciliations, variance reports, and general ledger journals for review by external accountants.
- Collaborate directly with Australian clients and employees to resolve payroll inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance process efficiency and data integrity.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience processing Australian payroll end-to-end.
- Non-negotiable: Expert-level proficiency in the SCHADS Award. Candidates without this will not be considered.
- Strong technical skills in payroll/accounting software (Xero, Xero Payroll, QuickBooks Online, Employment Hero, or similar).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, complex formulas).
- Deep understanding of Australian employment law, National Employment Standards (NES), and Fair Work regulations.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for effective collaboration with Australian stakeholders.
- Must have a stable high-speed internet connection, a dedicated home office setup, and a reliable computer.
